You must gather a number of papers in accordance with the requirements established by the Paraguayan government and submit them to the closest embassy, consulate, or representative mission in your home country in order to apply for a visa to Paraguay.

These files consist of:

1. Application for a Visa. You must sign and complete the entire form. Make sure you double-check the form to ensure that all the information you provide here matches the information in the remaining papers.
2. A current passport. A photocopy of your passport’s personal data pages and your passport are also required. On the day you want to enter Paraguay, your passport must still be valid for an additional six months and have two or more blank pages so that the Paraguayan authorities know where to place the visa.
3. A current picture. The picture needs to fit the requirements listed below.
4. The flight schedule. Send in a return ticket or flight schedule from the nation where you now reside to Paraguay and back. Put a copy of it on there.
5. Earlier visas. Please give copies of every visas you have ever held, together with the additional papers, if you have held any.
6. Evidence that you are self-sufficient. A proof of your ability to support yourself financially for the duration of your visit in Paraguay must be shown. One or more of the following might apply here:
   • Original bank statement including one photocopy.
   • a duplicate credit card picture.
   • evidence of ownership of real estate.
   • a letter from your employer outlining your role and pay.
7. Evidence for accommodations. There are several possibilities for this:
   
   • If you want to stay in a hotel in Paraguay, be sure to submit a hotel reservation that includes the hotel’s complete location and phone number.
   • If you are going to be staying with a Paraguayan family member, send along a copy of your host’s identity card and an invitation letter.
8. Business letter for individuals on business trips. The letter has to specify the reason for the visit, the duration of stay, the recipient’s name, phone number, and address in Paraguay, along with who will be paying for it.
9. Event invitation letter is necessary for people participating in conferences, seminars, artistic or sporting events, and to study in Paraguay.

    

Documents that minors must have:

1. both parents’ signatures appear on the application.
2. Original birth certificate for the child.
3. If the kid goes by themselves, with only one parent, or with a third party, an authorization signed by a notary public and the parents’ identity documents are required.

Visa Photo Requirements for Paraguay

Make sure your digital photo satisfies the following requirements before uploading it via the contact form:

1. The last three months are shown in the snapshot.
2. It has to be photographed against an off-white or plain white background.
3. Your entire face must be shown, gazing straight at the camera with both eyes open.
4. You should have a neutral expression on your face.
5. A JPG image format is required.
6. The picture must be at least 1.5 MB in size.

Please be aware that scanned images are not appropriate. Your application for a Paraguayan visa will be denied if the photo you provide is scanned or does not fit any of the previously mentioned requirements.
